Most electronics don't like to be suddenly shut off. 99.9% of electronics have no problem with just being shut off. Even computers are zero problems with being turned off (the electronics anyway). Saved me time Googling... They are very un balanced and no way these will work in the wall socket5 to aka renew/dry out the crystals... obviously the gels are dyed. Change dye color when dried out. I need to dig out my flimsy extension cord xmas type style... you know that brown one-- Plug it in lay it on its side> maybe the engineering dept [whom f ed up this design can put the plug/dry out, in on the side?] 1CanonDSLR Original all brass Canon F-1,

Picked up the PD Capture from a forum member locally, and I gotta say, I really like it. I use it for my IR 20D, and have my 50D on a B;ack Rapid. They work well in tandem. I'm right-handed, but keep the PDC on my left side, and it still works easily. I love this thing. If steroids are illegal for athletes, should PS be illegal for models?

I say that having tried a number of respected bag makers such as Tumi, Briggs and Riley and Eagle Creek. Only the older Tumi's before they were made in China can hold a candle to these duffels, and they have a lot more features that even that Tumi duffel. Jay

Very few electronics are bothered by the sudden removal of power. Two exceptions: projectors that need to cool down their bulbs, and computers that need to write data to their hard drive. Geoff

(OK, to be fair there was the CDC 6000 series supercomputer that broke whenever it lost power, but those critters were retired 40 years ago.)
