I have a question regarding LR3 catalogs that i have not been able to find an answer to...
I store all my pictures on an external harddrive that i usually switch between computers. I currently have a stationary PC and a Macbook (laptop), and both have LR 3.0.
My problem is that when I add photos to a catalog in Windows the files can not be found when i open the catalog in Mac OSX, and vice versa. This is apparently due to the way the different operating systems name their folders - fx (WIN) J:\Photos vs (MAC) /Photos/.
In the past with LR2.x i had no trouble working on the same catalog between the two operating systems. So it has come as a surprise, a very annoying one, that this doesn't work now.
Does sharing a catalog work for some of you ? Or Have you experienced similar problems ? And maybe found some workaround ?
Any help would be greatly appreciated, since i can't find any answers online.
