I go to B&H's website. Put the lens I want into my cart. I type in my username and password to check out. In that 10 seconds it takes me to login, I get that the lens is no longer available and that it has been removed from my shopping cart. Someone out-ordered me by a matter of a second or 2. DAMMUT!

Ahhhhhhhhhh!! (another rant =P )

That JUST happened to me at Newegg Friday morning so I completely understand your frustration. I was purchasing the Asus X58 Sabertooth motherboard for my new i7 930 build. I added to cart, refreshed it to make sure it's there, followed through checkout to the end to finalize my order and then BAM it says it's sold out!

It went back in stock later that afternoon but because of that, I need to wait a full day later for my MB to arrive on Wednesday when my CPU is arriving Tuesday! Great timing -.-

Just buy it! :) I sold my mint 21mm ZE a few months ago, and I so regretted it that I bought another one.

ha ha. this happened to me once (all except the last part). i let a guy enter the restroom before me, and he immediately made a bee line for the last stall. luckily there were two bathrooms on that floor. i just had to run across to the other side of the building.

lesson i learned: when 2 people arrive at the front door of a restroom at the same time, don't be courteous.
