Hi,

I'd really like to find a good photo workshop to attend. I'd like a chance to go out with a pro and some shoot some pictures and learn. I know such things exist, but I can't seem to find any after many web searches.

I'm on Long Island, but anywhere in NY/NJ/CT would be fine.

Thanks in advance for any suggestions.

There's always the traveling NOINK School. B&H also offers a series of workshops, and Adorama has some kind of learning program which I haven't looked into in any depth. Also see if any of the local museums, etc. have photo classes (here in Washington, DC the Smithsonian Resident Associates Program has a number every month). Local community colleges and county recreation programs also often offer courses with shooting sessions/critiques.

You're not going to get a chance to shoot with a pro, but you may find one to ask.
