Been a little while since I uploaded any images onto the forums, much of what I've been shooting recently is commercial and product shots or personal portraiture which seems to be at odds with the general vibe of photo sharing on here, but this recent fashion shoot seems fitting.

I got asked to shoot the collection of clothes one of NZ's budding fashion designers Sara Butt had produced for her forth coming show, and this is a taste of the results. We ended up with a lot of stuff after getting off to a rocky start whereby the agency supplied us with a model, and only let us know she was 15yrs old about 36hrs before the shoot. Lots of rushed paperwork and model releases later we started, only for her to tell us it was her first ever shoot.

Olivia did great considering!

Hope you enjoy.

Very nice series! Your model did very well for her first shoot. Images 3 & 4 were my favorites. Well done!

Excellent stuff Dave.
That must have been a shock, to learn your model was 15 and had no experience. Something like that would totally put me off an agency, however the model looks like she worked out pretty well.

Love the pictures too.

2,5,6 and 8 are just stunning.

But 8 in particular really caught my attention. I love the angled ground and the feeling of her falling over. Awesome.

I am not a pro or anything, but to me, most of these shots have a more editorial feel that fashion.

For example, in pictures 2, 3, 5 and 8, can you say the photos are about the clothing or any accessories they are wearing?
