yellow aphids

These are incredible small critters and pushing the limit of my set up (tubes with 28-135mm) and am investigating a better solution. Nonetheless, any comments on improvement most welcome
(oh, and yes, my vine needs some serious insecticide, but how could I now when I have taken so many shots of the cute critters? :lol

I like #3 the best, even though it gives me the willies!
Maybe a bit of noise reduction and a touch of sharpening would bring them out better.

Great captures but I would agree that the aphids are just loosing a little detail, especially on the first shot.

I like the diagonal of #3 as well, though I definitely didn't need to see aphids after a big Canadian Thanksgiving dinner!

Let your wife know that aphids only go to weak plants, so she needs to figure out why they are weak (and insecticide will only band-aid the issue).

Plus, you don't want her killing your photo subjects!
