Has anybody here abandoned muslins / seamless in favor of a Chroma-Key background and digital backgrounfds? Are you happy with it?

I've found Chroma-Key backgrounds tougher to light than normal backgrounds. At least when you get to the extraction phase. And I've never been real happy with the extraction of the background.

It's just a lot more difficult than one would expect. At least to achieve really good results.

Visit www.36pix.com (external link) they seem to be experts in lighting/extraction from green screens. I've not yet tried it but it's something I might toil with over the winter.
