Tunnel of Despair: Los Angeles

Couple of shots from a tunnel of despair. I don't know the name of this tunnel but it is on 2nd street that runs under Grand Ave just south of the Disney Concert Hall in downtown LA. At night the homeless stay in the bridge to protect themselves from the elements. In the second shot you can see three folks at the left of the image. Smell of urine wafts with the warm breeze from a heat wave we're having and an occasional homeless person yelling to no one walks by as a buddy and I take pics.

No, it's just a name I gave it as that where many homeless sleep at night to protect themselves from the cold and the rain.

turn around and drive down 1/2 mile to get some great tacos on the corner of no where! =)
