Time passes by and images change, places change, styles change, people change, manipulations of images change. If you had an interesting before & after image, which you can stitch(place) side by side....drop in here....or if you find a nice one online link it.I think it will be nice to see something fresh that contemporary or from the past.

found this one, I liked.

If it isn't your photo (and I really don't believe you're Steve McCurry), you must link the photos per POTN rules.

I remember when that happened, I was so excited! That's got to be one of my favs also. Her eyes really have a way of drawing the viewer in.

I find it interesting that the photographer, Steve McCurry, got the last roll of Kodachrome (external link).

There was a National Geographic special on NATGEO chanel a few weeks ago. 1 hour long. Told the whole story of trying to find this Afghan woman some 17 years later. To compound the problem, the original photo was taken in a refugee camp of sorts where children from many displaced families had gathered. In his original expidition, he never bothered to get names or villiages of his subjects. He could remember the name and location of the camp, but little else. And of course a foreign male trying to find a woman that he is not related to in this region had plenty of problems too. A really interesting documentary. Well worth watching when it is shown again.
