Just got back from the UPS delivery connection center (went there at 8:30pm...it was weird) and got surprisingly fast service of picking up my latest B&H order:

1 - B+W 67mm F-PRO UV
1 - Zeiss 100mm/f2 Makro-Planar T*

Good GAotU, the Zeiss is amazing on the D700 body and I mean that aesthetically and ergonomically speaking. I personally like the focus-throw and comfortably stiff action on the ring itself.

I just got home and here's the first shot -- no USM/NR applied or anything outside resizing (forgive me for the weak subject matter):

I thought my first shot was gonna be a focus fail, hahaha. Stopped down to 2.2 at 1/80th on ISO 640.

That I am. I had tried it out on the ZE mount but focusing is much easer on the D700 for some reason -- even with the camera it being compared to have 100% VF coverage and full-frame (1Ds II).

It just looks so damn good on the D700 as well!
