he can't afford the $220 for the 50mm f/1.4D if he can't get rid of the f/1.8D

he wants to meet with me earlier today, but backed out because the buyer of his f/1.8D did not confirm to buy the lens.

anyway, another guy inquired about the Sigma 12-24mm (1st). he asked for some architectural photos , of course, I gladly blinded him with some hahaha

Cool! :) Be patient. You'll sell the lenses in no time.

yeah... make me feel better. remember you're the culprit behind all this ahahaha

nahh I just shot some architectural shots last night (those that I posted above), and I can feel the disadvantage of the Sigma 12-24mm indoors, its a slow lens with no VR and it has a perspective distortion that is very difficult to avoid indoors. I love distortion but I can't control it sometimes hehe

The only knit is the barrel distortion when shooting indoors but, it's easily corrected in post. For landscapes, it isn't going to make a difference. :)

yeah agree... I think I will be able to shoot people with the 16-35mm at the long end without getting too much perspective distortion.

with landscape, I have no problem with the 12-24mm :D

The Rangers are going to the World Series!! :D:lol::cool:;)

Congrats Tom! I had them picked as the team i didnt want my yankees to face before the playoffs started. Someone asked me why? I said they are this years tampa rays from two years ago. A team motivated and hungry. They are the most dangerous type of all. Ill be rooting for the rangers to win it all in the series.

Here, have some video camera randomness...

DANG the canon XF100 (105 too) is looking to be a good camera. 4:2:2 with 50MBPS!

30.4mm-304mm (FF equivalent lens) not a huge reach (my XL2 has the equivalent of a 700mm lens at the long end) but it's small size coupled with a steadicam merlin will make it a great events camera. Probably will need an onboard light because it's only 1 chip, but I can get those super cheap. :)

The Panasonic AG-AF100 is also looking really good, but is more like a glorified DSLR and the price (about the same as a D3s) is putting me off....... come on Nikon bring out a decent video camera like the Canon 5DII :p
