well the plate is between the zoom and manual focus on the 24-70, i wonder if it's the 24-120?

Nah that's a D2x, so it's probably an older lens.

oooppsss ahahaha... I do need glasses. I lost my one and only rudy project prescription glass a year ago, and I'm too cheap to buy another replacement. I bought that damn piece for $200, and when I lost it, I checked the prices its already $400 or so :(

ahahaha...

btw, what's the difference between the build quality of the 24-70mm and older lenses versus the new lenses like 16-35mm, 35G, 24G, 24-120mm... they look the same but for some reason I think they don't feel the same

24-70 feels great, it feels a lot lighter than the canon variant, if that means anything. The 14-24 feels fat like the 85L did, and the 70-200 mark 2 feels great.

I keep looking at the 24-70mm.. its so sexy, but I am not really sure I will love the FL that much. so I am letting it go and stop dreaming about it (for now) hehe

I am thinking of selling the Sigma 12-24mm to a shop or something at a bigger loss if ever I don't get a buyer before the end of November.

Sigma makes a good lens, what do you expect to gain going to the nikkor f/4?

well yes stealthy is correct. and be able to use 35mm...

I have been wanting to change my 50mm f/1.4D with the 35mm f/2. so with the 16-35mm I get to have an UWA and at the same time I got a 35mm in 1 lens :D

the 16-35mm is faster in all FL than the Sigma and with VR to boot, more usable indoors than the 12-24mm

you say worth it? if I can sell both for an equivalent USD of $230 and $835.. I would break even on getting the 16-35mm from Adorama :D

if I buy locally though, I need to shell out roughly $200-$250 MORE
