The Zeiss 100 MP blows that 100 L to bits. Just sayin'...:)

While true it would mean I would have to go entirely Zeiss for consistency. I hate trying to grade footage from two different sources especially when the lens variations are so huge (Zeiss has very strong colours compared to EF lenses).

Why do you need to go all Zeiss? You can have differrent bits in your collection. :)

^I see what you're trying to do. What combo of the Zeiss would you buy?

For stills yeah but I've got some plans to do some video recording soon and I'd rather not have to sit there for hours trying to grade colours to match precisely :p I'm lazy like that heh.

Probably the 50 and the 100. I'd buy them all if the wive wasn't so skilled at chopping things with knives.

Hehe! :) Which 50? The 1.4 or the MP f/2? Thinking of picking up the 50 1.4 just for kicks.

I'm in the same boat. Not sure I'd ever really need the macro on a 50mm lens and the 50 1.4 is significantly cheaper than the MP version.

Quiet this morning... I'm sitting here staring at the EF 100L and the Zeiss 100 f2 MP trying to decide if I want to stay with an all EF line-up or go with more Zeiss glass.

droooooool.....go Zeiss :D

If you check out Denoir's shots, he says the 50 MP isn't good for portraiture. I would definitely go for the 1.4 instead.

Yeah I was leaning towards the 1.4 as it's half the price of the 50MP here in Canada and the 100MP is going to cost me about $1850 CDN. Might as well spend my winter bonus on something.
