This is my first post. Please give me feedback on this picture of my Golden Retriever. :)

Thanks!

Okay, my file size is too large. How do I get it small enough to post. I chose the smallest size possible and it's 450k. It says I have a limit of 100k.

Any help appreciated.....Thanks!

2nd Edit:
Thanks for the suggestions. I got it down to 64k...not sure how it will look.

3rd Edit:

Thank you so much for your suggestions. I hope I've got it right this time. My first upload (after the "no" upload) looked like crap. I'm hoping I've got the file settings right this time. I appreciate the fact that people are willing to help and be patient. :D

MMM.... Im not very technical, but I make mine smaller by resizing the image to say 3inches then I save it as a j peg, medium with baseline standard I think it is, in PS. This usually works! Welcome by the way! You'll love it here, lots of good advice and beautiful images to learn from. Can't wait to see your retriever.......when you retrieve him!

its a cool shot but its suffering a LOT from jpg compression anomolies

try making the picture smaller rather than compressing the large one more...
the compression has taken out a little too much detail and it's rather pixelated

what i try and do is make sure that the whole image can be seen in the forum thread without scrolling (having to scroll to see a whole pic takes away the impact of the photo i think......

i'm sure the original will be very sharp........

p.s Welcome to the forum.....
