Our local team played a Fox Sports Ohio (local/regional) game of the week Thursday. In a span of 59 seconds, they gave up three TDs to the team in white jerseys. Final was a 35-21 loss.
One strange factor was that someone had a bonfire going close to the stadium which dumped huge amounts of smoke over one side of the stadium. Nice 'ambiance,' but shooting through the smoke really upped the high ISO noise. It's always something!!!
1. Q1, already dark. This and all others are at f/2.8; 1/640; ISO 2500
2. Throwing the deep out pattern. Incomplete as usual!
3. HE - COULD - GO - ALL - THE - WAY ...
4. Nope ... brought down just short of the goal line; ball spotted inside the 1 yard line.
5. Nice punt return. Probably one of the longest plays in a HS football game I've ever witnessed. Ball fielded around his own 30, finally tackled inside the 10 yard line. Part of the return in open space
7. This was the next play in the sequence, 1st and goal, coming right at me.
8. And one 15 minutes prior to start of game with last natural light
