It works great for me. definitely worth the money. i havnt used the canon grip so i dont know how they compare, some say it feels cheaper. MJF830 Member 94 posts Joined Jun 2010 Location: TX More info | Hey I got this grip with my 7D and can't get it near tight enough to make a connection the spring in the battery compartment I'm assuming is pushing it back out. Did you have this problem? Mike
