The original battery in my digi/rebel went dead all of a sudden today after about 6 shots close together. The battery had not been charged for a couple of weeks but was showing full before I started. I thought it must have been low then a burst of 4 pics killed it. Not so, when I tried it again 30 minutes later it was showing full again, took a bunch of pics to try it, all was fine. Back home on the charger it also showed full. Was this just a one time glitch ??? I've had it for 6 months without a problem...Now I'm nervous about battery failure when I'm out.

If there is not an internal problem in the battery, carefully cleaning the contacts in the camera, the battery and the charger may help.
