Makes you wonder how WWII might have turned out differently if Hitler had listened to his Generals regarding jet technology!

Good catch.

Jets do make pretty good bombers. He was right on the concept, but wrong on the timing. Lucky us! :D

Yes they do, but not when your opponent has near Air Dominance over the battlefield and you negate the superior aspects of your aircraft by flying them low like Stukas instead of high where they outclassed everything else.

If they'd stuck to bomber interceptions only, the Allies wouldn't have been so "Lucky" as quickly...

If they did more jets earlier the Soviets would probably have overrun Berlin a year earlier (due to lack of tanks and AT guns), only to find airfields full of jets, unused due to lack of fuel :)

I like "time to leave". Oh well.
