Hi everybody!

Can you tell me some useful photography tips and techniques that I could use during my 2 day stay at the seaside? What should look for and how should i do it?

I'm using a G6.

Thanx a lot in advance.

I lived right on the beach in Hawaii for 4 years, I would say make sure you protect your lens with some type of filter (UV filter would be fine) and I would recommend making sure you have something to clean the lens with, I'm not sure where you are going to the beach but any amount of wind will pick up sand and water.

Watchout for (salty) sea spray on windy days - not only does it make your lens dirty, it will eventually corrode metal parts.
