Kingfisher and Osprey

The weather has been real nice here the last couple of weeks and I had some luck a couple days ago when on the prowl for birds. These two were the highlight. Thanks for looking.

This Kingfisher was sitting on top of a sailboat mast.

Osprey with a fresh kill.

Both very nice shots Brad, that Kingfisher image is quite unique. That fish looks like it's trying to say something, but I don't think the Osprey is listening. " Hey fella, if you let me go I'll show you where the big guys hang out, you don't want me, I'm all skin and bones"

Good work on both of these, I really like the Osprey shot, the added fish really makes it with a nice head turn and great eye color. Kingfisher is nice also, a bird that eludes me.

Thanks for the comments Dan. The Kingfisher was totally unexpected. He was just sitting there atop a mast as I drove through the marina. It is my best Kingfisher shot to date. The perch isn't the best though.
