It has everything to do with it. If they are an "artistic interpratation" of your vision of the bike, then they are not to bad. If they are "product shots" to sell the bike, they need some work. Different intentions will have different results. And therefore have different C&C. Not sure we can help if you dont understand this.
I understand that I took some shots of my bike in my studi. I shared them here to get c&c on technique, lighting, composition, etc.
If one takes a picture of car, does it mean it's for sale, it's a photo to remember the car by, insurance claim, the list goes on. Maybe I took one or two pics for the sales ad and took a few more to hang in my garage. It should not and does not matter to me what the intention is.
You say the pics are good for an "artistic interpratation" but need work if used for "product shots".
What are your recommendations to improve the shots for "product shot"?

Sounds like you are only after afermation. Not C&C. A bunch of " good shot" replies never helped anybody.
Nope, not that way at all!
If I want oooos and aahhhhs, I'll post 'em on facebook and let my family members tell me how good they are.
Most of what I have learned about photography has taken place on this forum and many others like it. I like and request (good), straight to the point c&c.

I didnt say they dont help sell. I said I didnt get the intention of the photos from the shots themselves. They have kind of the artsy abstract thing happening, and kind of a product thing happening. But are not solidly in either camp. So it is kind of hard to tell on a forum. Had I seen them hanging on a wall it would have been clear they are arty shots. Or in a catalog, they are surely product work. But, bunched together in a post without clarification it was hard to tell what way you intended them to go.
Previous statement you say they are good for "artsy" here you say they are "not solidly in either camp". Where is the c&c? What can I do to make them better? You have not offered any c&c to this point. Only the fact of you don't get whether they are going to be used as "artsy" or "product" photos. So, don't crack on me about not wanting or receiving c&c
Thank you!

I agree with the above, excelent shot for web but the front wheel will get lost in a B&W halftone. That is if it will be printed in B&W. A color newspaper pic it might still do OK.
This is straight forward, postive feedback. Thank you!
The front wheel is lost whether it goes to print or not and I should have put some light on it. Didn't really notice how lost it was till I loaded it up in LR.
As far as B&W and print, see my comment to Frank
The sales ad was for local craigs list.
Thanks!
