Here you have skylight from the window and tungsten (or is it fluorescent?) from the room. Some photographer would criticize the light mix, but it blends well here. I'm not particularly happy about the bright window and blinds being in the shot. It draws the eye away from the subject. Joe

As stated the brightness of the window is distracting. Ways to fix that are crop, burn or clone. Each of these have their pros and cons though.
2. Burn...burning the window darkens the brightness of it, but IMO it is still a distraction and looks unatural.
3. Clone...IMO this is the best option. It helps carry out your "warmth" theme and removes the distraction entirely. Now this was a quik edit and more detail could be taken around edges, but you can see my train of thought here.
Not saying these are what to do or not, just giving you something to consider. Canon Stuff...
