This is a picture of my old roomates dog Leila. I was testing out my Canon 50mm f/1.4 USM when I got it. Please give any comments or reccomendations!

I like it. You might want to try cropping out the dark region at the bottom.

Nice but looks like an awb problem ie too orangey. Agree with the crop suggestion though.

the wall behind her is a tan/khaki color to boot........I believe it was on AWB as well.....

Cute shot and congrats on the lens, I love mine. As others said, crop, white balance, perhaps bump exposure a bit.


Canon 5DIII, 7D, 40D, 8-14L, 24-70 f2.8L, 70-200 f2.8L IS, 24L, 50L, 85 f1.8, 100L, 135L, 1.4 Extender, Tokina 16-28 f2.8, and too many lights and accessories to list.

I think you could have used slightly more depth of field I find the unfocussed nose and unfocussed back of the head a bit annoying.

Else it's a lovely idea.
