This is somewhat in referance to the 5D, but applys to the 1D 2 and 1Ds2.
What are the differant focus screens, what are there benefits?
any Viewfinder pics that SHOW the differance (I'm a Visual person, thats why I take pictures)

Might have seen it in views through camera viewfinders in oooold movies (like the 70's of the last century ) It allows you to focus more precisely because the ground glass in the middle will only show perfect alignment of lines if the picture is correctly focused. Best regards, Andy some cameras, some lenses,

I remember these being discussed before and had meant to look 'em up again. I am think I should go that route if I use MF with my TCon's. You don't really get a second chance and trusting my eyes and the tiny VF doesn't give confidence. Bit of a rip off arguably but I guess if they do the job well then the results are worth the cash. 1000 OOF shots are worthless!!!! https://photography-on-the.net …/showthread.php?t=1203740

Small scale productions tend to have their price. Haha, and the largest ripoff definitely is the Canon one ... costs about $ 4,000 (with the 1DII). Although they definitely could offer a replacement one for the 20D. Best regards, Andy I just got my 1d mk2 about a month ago and i dont feel riped off at £2050 brand new uk.Now the 1d mk2n is £3050 that is a rip off. LOL

Best regards, Andy Thats not at all what I was referring too. The 1 series and the 5D say they have interchangeable focus screens, the white paper for the 5D says it comes with 3, which are the same as the 1 series, I want to know what they are, and what they do. I know all about the Hoada screen. T2i gripped with kit lenshttp://75.126.234.18/forum/showthread.php?t=400860
