i think technically the warranty is non-transferable, regardless of if it's registered or not

you might run into problems with the registered one with the address listed, and all that...but there is probably a way to change it online i would guess...

That lens still has the old finish on the focus ring. The New Sigma 85mm 1.4 and 70-200 2.8 OS have the new finish everywhere, so I suspect that eventually all Sigma lenses will go that way as well.

My 30mm has the old sparkle on the ring only. That's the new finish I thought. My friend has one with the "sparkle" everywhere

I marked the red dot as my focusing spots all shot at f1.4. I think I got a decent copy; wasn't as bad as my Sigmalux..EXIF is shown!
