Daughter's first birthday

Here are a couple of pics of my daughter's first birthday. C&C welcomed!

My thoughts on selective coloring aside, here are the rest of them.

1) Years later, do you really want to remember what the left backside of her head looks like? I personally feel that this one isn't really a keeper.

2) The frame cut the feet and legs out. Generally, try to include all body parts within the frame. And with youngin's, I like to shoot at their eye level. So I get down on the ground and create a different perspective. Try it and see what you end up liking.

1) I agree with you on that, i guess i liked the pic b/c she was looking at the present like "should i open it?" lol

2) I'll check when i get home to see if the feet were cut out in the main photo, i don't think they were, but i'll have to check. I'll definitely give your input a try and see what i come up with. I am going to take all 3 of the kids to the park this weekend and try to get some more shots of them. Hopefully they will turn out good
