I wish. I am unemployed with about $200 in the bank and I assume tix will be much more than that. Are you going?

I went to a game during the WS of 88, 89, and 90. I was unable to go to a WS game in 2002. I really want to go this year. It will be so electric there.

For those of you that have never been to a WS game, do it if you can. It's not like any other game you have probably been to. The atmosphere is amazing, especially when the home team does something good.

I might try to work out something by trading a lens for tix in the marketplace section and on craigslist. But I have also been playing with the idea of selling all my lenses and 40D (only camera) to take advantage of the Canon Loyalty Program and getting a 5D2 kit.

If anyone has extra tix for game 1 or 2, please take a look at my gear and see if there is anything you might like to trade for.

Once the Giants sealed the deal, I called a buddy of mine who has season tickets.
He said all of a sudden, he has a LOT of friends, but only two tickets. :p

Giants victory parade Wednesday morning!!!

The Giants' victory parade will start at 11 a.m. Wednesday at Montgomery and Washington streets and go southbound on Montgomery to Market Street before continuing west on Market Street to Civic Center Plaza.

After the parade, Mayor Gavin Newsom will present the team with the key to the city on the steps of City Hall.

The parade will replicate the route taken by the team when they came to San Francisco from New York in 1958.

I'm there! And I'll still be able to catch my 6:30p class in San Jose.

Hey Folks, it looks like I'll be at The Dickens Fair (external link) on Saturday.
Come on out.

Oh, there's a $4 savings on the web site for the tickets if you buy online.

Just for the record, I will NOT be dressed in period costume. :p
There are a few people I know who will be, and I of course will be shooting. ;)

Looks fun. Wish I could go but finals start next week. We should get a photowalk set up before Christmas. Could be a fun time

Never interested in getting stuck down there on that day. Drunks, *******s, people defecating in public. Traffic is a nightmare, no parking all day. I'd rather be away as far as possible.

I know the AMA motorcycle racing is going on at Sears Point, but my leg injury is keeping me from standing and walking all day.
