NIce shots Phil, I think I saw you getting #5, I don't remember if it was a Kelly car, but I saw someone verryyy low to the ground just after murrays just off to the side.

Nice shots again!

Great shots as always Phil.

Re the chopper shots, I can honestly say that even watching the telecast on TV I have never seen that chase chopper flown so low!!! It was almost as enjoyable as the race!

Do you think you'll make it up to the Gold Coast for the 600?

Thanks all.
You're not wrong about that chopper pilot - just nuts.
I'm pretty happy with my race images after having really struggled all weekend until then.
Honestly, I was ready to throw my gear as far down that hill as I was able to.
On Friday I was ready get as far away from Bathurst as I possibly could.
I just simply couldn't seem to get any creativity happening and was a grumpy old sad sack.
Thankfully my housemates kept the razor blades well out of my reach.

Daz, Gold Coast isn't happening for me - my sister has decided that would be the perfect weekend to have her 40th - great timing.
If I missed that, I would be in more trouble than the first settlers - I cop enough grief for missing family stuff as it is and that would be the last straw.

Shaun, you're probably right. I got quite a few from that same angle as the Kelly car.

Theres a whole lot more race pics here www.freewebs.com/philwillmedia/apps/photos (external link)

I'll get some practice/qualifying and support race shots up shortly.

Regards, Phil

No worries Phil. Gotta keep the family happy.
Also it's sobering to hear that even a seasoned pro like you can have an off day...it makes ALL the off days I've had just that bit easier to take!!!

And I am pretty good at off days.
