Yeah I know, I have to figure out how to post these pictures right.

Just resize your image to a max of 800 pixels on the long side. I really like your picture, but I was unable to see the whole thing at once, so I took your span style="color:Black;"1752x1168 @ 576kb (INVALID EMAIL) and resized it to 800x533 @ 76kb. This would make it much better for those with dial ups to view your picture. That's what beccaNH was referring to.

I believe your picture could have been better. Your main subject is smack dab in the middle of the frame. I'm guilty of that all the time. In this case, just a little to the right could have gotten the other buck completely in the picture. That would have been nice even if he is oof. Your picture looks better cropped with the in-focus buck to the left side, but I didn't want to post your pictured altered other than resized.

I love the lighting. I hope to see more of your shots.

A little friendly sparring action. See, if I bring the KB down, the deer look much farther away. Well at least everyone can view it and get the idea.

This one was on to me. It still took them 10 minutes to run though. If I had more light, these pic's would have been ice clear. It is the nature of the beast and the times they come out to browse I guess.

It was very low light now. 1600 ISO and 2.8 apeture. Do you believe this place. Scott, I hunt for 30 years and only dreamed of a place like this. I leave hunting behind and go into photography and go figure.

Nice stuff Mike! Catching the sparring must have been great, and that last shot is fantastic. Keep it up!

That's a very impressive bachelor group ... is that some kind of game preserve?

Nice shots, too ... keep 'em coming!

Thanks Jay. No it's not a preserve. It is just a guy's 400 acre property outside of Albany, NY. He does not let hunters on b/c they have disrespected the property to many times. Enviromental Conservation does some king of herd control 3 times per year where they shoot many deer. The deer end up feeding people throughout the area. Believe me, what ever they are shooting isn't doing much to curb the population. However, the deer aren't hurting. They have enough of grass, alfalfa, corn, and acorns to live a lifetime.

Mike
