I'm sending in my 20D body next week for repair. Have a 2nd 20D body now to use while it is gone. It does not AF anymore. Question is - since I know I have used it for more than 100,000 pix..... what else should I ask for - have them do now? Is there such a thing as an overhaul, refurbish? Should I ask for a new shutter or just let it ride so to speak. No, I do not have a lot of $ to spend but do need reliable cameras. OK, someone tell me not to even send it in and quick sell it on eBay as-is. Options please.

20D's actuation cycle is 100,000, so getting a new shutter might be prudent.

They'll thoroughly check it over and bring it back to spec. If that means a new shutter, they'll do that. You're still in warranty, anyhow. You could always identify some problem that would make them look more closely at the shutter while it's in.
