This was my first opportunity to photograph meerkats. It's a good thing the San Antonio zoo doesn't have any, as that would probably be the only exhibit I'd make it to all day long. They're so cool to watch.

More zoos are getting them, since the zoo visitors seem to like them, yet they don't cost much to feed.
