Velvia Slide Scans - Flowers & Sky

I scanned these slides which were shot on Velvia film. I'm looking for comments on the color, saturation, contrast, etc. for improving how I do the scanning.

I notice that you left the rounded rectangle outline of the slide. Do you like it that way?

I always cut out that outline and leave the visible image clean with no fuzzy edges. But that is just me.

The rounded corners actually looked kinda retro when I was viewing them full screen. Reminded me of seeing the projected on the wall. I'm not sure I want to crop them out because I'd be cutting out part of the pictures. Maybe I'll just clone something in to square it out... Hmm....
