I've never been to a road track that couldn't squeeze in a few more people, & with the money problems most have today with the costs of resurfacing, etc., it just doesn't make a lot of sense. I wasn't a happy bunny, but the steam fair was a good alternative. Next year I'll order my goodwood tickets online before flying over. Yep, gave up very early on a clean background and just took the pics of the subject and ignored its surrounds. Also had the problem with over 140 engines at the show, most of them running, a lot of smoke and steam around. It was like looking through mist a lot of the time.
