Actually, it's the perspective from where I was in the parking lot. The camera grid line was lined up with the sign, where you can see it is level.

Doesn't work that way. The part of the building that is at the same level as your camera lens is the part that should be level, not the sign.

Another part of any pic that gives a strong impression of straightness or tiltedness is the direction of prominent vertical lines.
Nice job processing the hdr; crisp clean night shot.

From a corner perspective, the sign should appear to angle up towards the closest corner. It's a nice image but the distortion takes away from it. Here is a rough idea of what I mean...it's not perfect, but it will show you what I mean by corner perspective.
