Growing up in SoCal, one of the most influential movies of my young life was "Endless Summer". These images take me back... thanks for the moment of daydreaming these shots provided!
Great captures, water colors and composition for both. Nicely done!

Thank you for the comments.. The water here in Southeast Queensland Australia is just fantastic and on days when the surf is goin off it just begs for photos to be taken

I like the pics. I looked at your website and these photos are far better than the ones on your site. You seemed to have learned to press the shutter more accurately when the surfer is pulling off his manouver. The afternoon sun on the East coast is also a great advantage. My best tip for surf pics is never use auto white balance as it just can't work out what the ocean is, and shoot in RAW even if u have to buy more memory cards!!!

I really enjoy both photos, but I think that the borders are way too chunky and the text ruins the overall image.
I suggest using a simple font at a smaller size.
Verdana 10 pt.
Arial Bold 10pt.
Even an 8 pt.

Thanks for the comments guys, I really appreciate all input.

Back in August when these shots were taken I was playing around with frames and watermarks etc and now when I look at my shots I think "OMG what was I doing?" LOL (Sorta like a hair cut from the seventies). I shoot in RAW now and edit with RS Premium I was using CS2 RAW editor until I found the RSP.
Any way I will keep posting shots as I get down to Burleigh a couple of times each weekend but lately the surf has been pretty hopeless.

Thanks guys
