I've made a few trips to Home Depot today and I'm finishing up all the painting on my ring light. This week I'm expecting the last of the parts I need and then the final assembly.

Interesting, is there or do you plan on making a post about it somewhere ? Curious what you cooked up.

The video you guys mentionned, is the one with the horrible aspect ratios right ?

If one can't even keep aspect ratios consistent while recording a video, i'd take any testing with a huge grain of salt.

I will give him the benefit of actual effort though, he did make a video, he did -try- to get a consistent test going, he just didn't do a very good job of it. I hope he tries again and makes it better.

I have posted sample shots from the first shoot with the prototype. That's what confirmed that I really liked the result and the concept for the design.

I'm just finishing up the real version and once it's complete (within another week or so) then I'll post images and details.

How does a deep octa compare to these PLMs? Yeah, that youtube vid shows the PLM to be more focused but doesn't say much else about it.
