I'm trying to find a source for foam board. I have about 90 photos in bags at 11x14, and 8x10, that I'm needing to get some backing into. I am thinking my best option would be order full sheets, but trying to find the best source. I live in the boonies, so I'll have to order anything I get online pretty much. Archival is best of course. Help?

ok, now the question of, how important is acid free in foam board? The photos are going to be sitting in a gallery, and may be there for a while in a bag with the foam board. Is it a must to get acid free? How long will the photo last without out of curiosity?

I can answer that question with a question, well maybe two

How important are your photographs?
How humid is where they are going to be? What kind of light will fall on them?
What kind of and how strong is the acid in the board?
Ok maybe more than two questions.
Some maybe never do harm, while others could over a hot sticky humid day.
There really is no way to be sure of the if or when. Maybe you will only have them on there a few weeks, maybe your paper and the ink they are printed with, will not interact with what ever type of acid is in the non acid free backing.

That I can give you an absolute answer on. Yes
Which leads to the next statement. Acid free may be the best way to go. Woops there goes any thoughts of LSD.

Berryville isnt that far in the boonies. The Hobby Lobby in Rogers can get you whatever you need. Just call first to make sure they have what you need in stock.
