first attempt at bif

taken with sigma 150-500. Its alot harder then I thought. 500mm is still not enough. this is cropped to 125%. taken with 40d.

It is quite tough, I have the same lens. Personally I have problems aiming at 500mm. So even when it does get close enough not to need to crop you gotta be really quick.

Really not a bad first attempt. The detail is there, just too much clutter. It helps to practice panning on run of the mill birds in flight, like seagulls, crows etc. Even if you never show them, at least the experience is good.
