Since nobody else asked......

WarOat,

What is that a picture of?

I like it,

Jon...

As Slimmer said it was a centimeter of water in a glass beer mug, placed on top of my back lit red keyboard (the saitek II as mentioned above). You could probably pop the letters out and rearrange them to make it say something ;)

I wonder how you held the camera? I've had good results using a monopod to support my camera. Here's an example, but unfortunately using a Pany ZS3...

Shot hand-held f/3.5 - 1/125th, ISO 80

Just some flowers on the window sill in the front room, backlit by sun coming through the blinds behind them.

I'm in love with this little camera...

Hi dav_yan,

You did really well for hand held! I find that if I rest the butt of the camera agains something solid, I do a lot better.
My monopod helps a lot too. But I"m getting shakier. Thanks for our kind comment. My full moon shots are the worse. I get good craters shown close to "The Terminator", the black edge of shadow. A fellow I know does astronomy. I don't. ;) I'm just fascinated with the moon and love taking pictures of it.
I never had anything good enough to share with my G11, so I'm impressed with what you've done.
Look forward to seeing more.

Best,

Dave

Beautiful tones and wonderful feeling. You absolutely nailed it.

The book is the only thing that breaks the spell at all. Shoot again with a vintage book, hide or clone out the power cord on the floor and you would have a perfectly timeless photo.

I like it as well, it seems like it did a good job picking out the right colors as well.
