Not posted here before but I sold my 400d for the G12 as I tour on my Motorbike and the SLR was a pain, here are a few links to some shots taken in the Isle of Man last weekend.

First uploads with G12.

This is a great walkaround camera for the city.

Great pics.

I assume that’s your house.

That being the case, you can afford any camera out there. Yet, you go with the G12. Testament as to just how good the camera really is.

:D

Kent,

Really good shots. Very nice composition and post processing.

This is just a great camera. While I enjoy and definitely love using my 5D and 50D, the G12 is the most fun because of ease of use to quality output ratio. Also, I value the portability highly. I don't like to carry around the big stuff on my urban downtown commute. So, the G12 is with me most.

I must find time to post more pics.

Jim

thanks for the kind words.

really love this camra, but at first i did not buy it just for its picture quilty. i needed a camra that i could take diving with me, and this thing is great under water. do not have anything worth posting in here yet, as i mainly do vids of my spearfishing. (

I would love to see videos especially u/w videos with the 12 as that is something I'm looking to do as well.

Go ahead and start a g12 Video thread...I'll contribute when I have something worthwhile.

Have fun

i would like to point out the pic of the new brighton pier has had no editing done to it, staight from the camra. to get this shot i put the g12 on its 15second exposure, it was pretty dark at the time. the pier has lighting under it that change colors, so thats how this shot works.

i want to try do some star trail on the next shot of the pier, been waiting for a clear night!

I'm new to the site but was going to post a few photos. Then I tried to do so but realized, I have no idea how. I used advanced and thought I uploaded two photos from my laptop, but alas, that wasn't the case. If someone knows a link I can click with instructions, I'd appreciate it.
