Composition is terrific but the backlighting makes it awfully hard to see the bird.

Something you are doing - In PP I expect - is giving you wavy lines around the bird and around the branches.

Detail in the body of the bird is tough to get with the bright back lighting.

Thanks for the comments. I took 2 pictures, one with the vulture properly exposed and one with the tree properly exposed. Since I decided to use it as a joke picture I went for having the tree and sky properly exposed with the dark ominous bird on the branch. :D

I had not noticed the wavy lines and am not sure where they came from. The only pp I did was to sharpen the photo a bit since I don't have the camera do any. Maybe it happened when I re-sized the photo for the forum.
