This is small bits of the trip i took to Alaska last month.....September 2010....The train from Anchorage to Whittier going south...I also took train from Anchorage to Fairbanks the next day...I will add some of those also here if it is alright...Just doing the train thing here now...No big landscape pictures....Will do that in another thread...Thanks......

The actual train going to Whittier to catch a boat tour of Prince William Sound....Only two cars...Train would be moving towards you looking at picture...In order to get this shot and the one above..I had to go behind the depot...Not supposed to go there....LOL....

Coming up on the tunnel that is the longest in North America...2.5 miles...You will be in Whittier as you exit tunnel....
