We did the walk for Cincinnati Children's Hospital yesterday at Coney Island. I don't know how many walkers there were, but I would guesstimate around 2000. For those of you who don't know, our youngest son, Ryan, has a congenital heart defect and will be heading to open heart surgery in the next year. I don't know how much money was raised for the hospital, but as a parent of a frequent patient, you can't put an amount on the worth of the doctors and nurses who saved Ryan's life. Here are a few from yesterday.
#1. This is Sami, our youngest. She just turned 2 on Friday.
#2. This is our oldest son, Titus. Sami is in his hip pocket whenever he is around.
#3. This is Ryan, or "Boo" as we call him. He was our inspiration behind our team, Boo's Crew. Looking at him and how he just goes and goes and goes, you would never know he has a bad heart.
#4. This is most of our team. I'm the short, skinny guy in the back w/ the sunglasses. I good enough to snap the picture and get in the shot w/out being missed. Yeah, I'm THAT good.
