I have owned the Canon 100mm macro since June and these are my first uploads. All hand held. The first two are recent and I used a 430 EX ll ... I was laying on the ground in a bike lane and I was able to keep the camera very still.

Thanks!

PS: Is this a grasshopper or cricket? I thought it was a cricket?

I always assumed grasshoppers were only green. :o I have a lot to learn about bug species.

Thanks for taking a look at my images.

Brian, I can't put into words the excitement I felt when I read you're compliment. To me you are one of the top macro photographers that I have seen on the internet and I am thrilled I produced something that caught you're attention.

Take care.
