Thanks for the comments! All the sony jokes crack me up...especially the salad spinner one! Having never shot with an SLR before though I LOVED it! Now I really want a used 40D or something.

They are good, especially for your first time with an SLR. The compositions are OK but nothing exciting. The colors are good but they don't seem consistent - white balance? Some seem warmer than others.
I like the B&W conversion but the crop needs to be adjusted to above her waist or just below his left hand on her waist.

I shot on auto WB so not sure what's up with that, maybe my processing. I noticed in some she looks really tan. I will go back and look at that. I couldn't figure out what to do with that B&W one. I did not want to chop off their other hands but I don't quite like it like it is. I will try your idea.

:lol::lol::lol:

i really liked the shots. nothing out of focus, good emotions throughout, nice comp. it was mentioned before, but just watch out for chopped limbs. i find myself doing that all the time unconsciously.

YUP...I'm good at amputating limbs...will try to remember that next time.

Auto white balance adjusts for every shot. I would suggest you pick a white balance to match your conditions and stick with it. At the very least it makes correcting the raw easier.
