I've done 1000 shots + on the same SterlingTek battery. (Little LCD review, no flash, no IS) Considering how cheap you can buy extras I'll likely pick up 2-3 more just to have. It would be nice to not have to worry about batteries for an entire vacation. (NOw if only I could say the same about memory)

I have one of those. It works great. If memory serves me correctly it has more mAh than the Canon version, meaning it should last even longer.

Extra freshly charged batteries mean one less thing to worry about.

Hi Allan. I had a similar experience with my 350XT first charge - it also seemed to last a very short time. I may have been playing with the settings, etc, and could have reduced battery life doing that, although I suspect that it may actually have been the charge. Second and subsequent ones have been much better.

My two sterlingtek batteries have a MUCH better lifespan than the original Canon NB2L-H and are highly recommended.
