I feel like in 2 the backround is distracting but somehow works for me. How is the yellow off in 3? Canon 7d

I have this as well but by now the light wasnt really working with me. The light there wasn't working because the tree was blocking the reflections from the sky. Any Tips to make these better or tips for future shoots? See the links in my Sig. FrankC - 20D, RAW, Manual everything...
