As a follow up to the Scenes Along the Great River Road post
https://photography-on-the.net/forum/showpost.php?p=11088227&postcount=1]

I went back this weekend to take more photos. This time I didn't have the family so I had more time to explore. The foliage was near peak and the weather was ideal. Here are a few from yesterday. Any feedback would be much appreciated!

I like #3 the best. 1 and 2 are good, also, but lack something.

#3 is lovely, looks serene, the colors are wonderful, as is the composition.

These are beautiful. Those cliff shots are awesome.

The DOF is working in these landscapes and the crisp detail is pretty impressive. I have to ask if you are shooting a crop sensor camera. #3 is my top choice followed by #4.

Thank you all for the critiques and kind words. #3 was my personal favorite also. Yet there is still always room for improvement.

All shots were taken with the 7D. So yes, it is a CMOS sensor. Most were taken with the 10-22mm wide angle with #4 shot with the 70-200mm MkII

You are getting great DOF with that lens and the sensor is picking up more detail than the 5DII delivers in the same space.

Lovely place and you've captured it well. I think the images could all use a bit more contrast though.
