I have a colleague that has an Amvona tripod and wants to order an extra plate for the head, but their website appears to be gone and I can't locate a phone number for them. Are they still around? Anyone have any contact info for them?

They are gone gone gone... They got out of the photography equipment business and now just run a tech blog. Too bad because I was looking for a replacement tripod and ballhead.

Find out what company Amvona was buying from and than who else may be selling that company's photo gear. Worth a try

A quick search shows a bunch of Amvona parts on eBay.

I'll let him know to see if he can find one for his head.

That is what I told him to do.

i can't promise they have the same head, but hopefully he still has a plate that he can compare it to. if not, tell him to compare his clamp to the RC4 clamp.
