That image has been in indian tradition for much longer than it was ever used for in the derogatory conceptualizations that the **** movements have typecast it as. It ironically, when used in that context, means life or some derivative of it.

Why does this website censor the german fascist movement of the late 30s/40s?

Whatever - Where were you when you took this?

Ya after i posted I did a little research. It's a shame how a symbol of life and equality turned into a symbol of death and hatred.

If you ever look at at some maps of Asian cities outside of China, you will see plenty of swastika(s). They represent Buddhist temples if I recall correctly.

Yes, it's a (like) svastica
IMHO, the svastica was used for the "arian" people for centuries, in Asia.
The **** politics (before an during the II WW) took it an turned 45º and the branches too.
The "**** svastica" means the superiority over the rest ...(they lost a very good oportunity to keep in silence).
This picture was taken in a road near Jaipur (India)

Swastika: From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia (external link) It goes back to 6,000 BC.

The American Indians had a version that was a mirrored configuration from the German's.
